Mar 25, 2016 Bose soundlink around ear II headdphones unable to setup in windows 10 Hi, my windows 10 Home edition recognize my Bose Bluetooth headphone but I am not able to use it. I tried all your suggestions. Nothing is working. My problem is I am having a Bose Soundlink Bluetooth Around Ear II head phone. Bluetooth driver is access my headphone.

Process used to connect:
Checked to see drivers were latest:
They are....
Went through the pairing instructions:
ie: Settings -> Devices/Bluetooth/Printers/Mouse/Bluetooth

(it automatically starts searching for devices)
Turned the bluetooth search button on for the headphones.
- LED turns blue
- Headphone audio telling they are ready to pair

Confirm that I wanted to connnect
Windows tells me 'Bose AE2 Soundlink Connected'
Note : Before trying to connect disconnected 3 previously registered Bluetooth devices on headphones such as phone, iPAD, miniPAD.
No sound coming out at all....
I've removed the connection 3 times and repeated the steps
Same error.
Says its 'Connected' but the Bose Headphones don't spell out the Surface Pro Device Name like it does for the iPhone, iPAD and MiniiPAD I have .....

Update After a couple of hours ferreting around ....
- Was looking through Other Microsoft Bose Bluetooth Headphone issues logged.
- From other notes It appears that the bluetooth headphones wont work with the standard driver on Window 10. ie: It needs to support higher quality sound.
- Using the link above (which is a general info document by BOSE) it references another link to a BOSE Speaker driver update.
- I deleted the previous pairing which hadn't worked.
- I then ran the Speaker Driver update although exited the program after the driver was complete as the remaining part of the execution related to Bose speakers - not headphones.
- After this I was able to get really good sound through the headphones
